Re: Help looking for a Fromeco supplier

I have only ever used the V2 arms.

I like the looks of the V3. But have never tried them.
If they had a right and left arm, I would definately try them.
But I'm fussy that way

Re: Help looking for a Fromeco supplier

Thanks Brad

I was giving the Secraft arms a good look last night and I think I'll go that route. I like the bling factor of the V3 arms and will likely go with them for the ailerons but I'm not sure those will work on elevator so I'll put some V2 ones in the stabs.

If you are talking about the black hangar-9 arms.....
Yeah, there have been numerous reports of them bending and breaking on larger planes.
I have always used Secraft arms from Jeff at Thunderbolt RC.
I haven't heard of any issues with the Secraft. And I know if Jeff would be getting back any bad reports on them, he would stop selling them and look for something else.

Re: Help looking for a Fromeco supplier

Hey guys thanks for the replies. After a few frustrating moments in the shop tonight I've now got a little more time. I'll just say I'm now in the market for some new servo arms. I normally use SWB arms on my giants but decided to try some new Hangar 9 arms and they were a disappointment. They're very flexible and don't fit the splines on the servo well. I'll probably go back to SWB unless someone has a product they love and would recommend.

Joe, I'm running Life packs straight into the Rx so no reg required but thanks for the offer.

Trevor, thanks for the offer I'd like to take you up on it. I'll send you my cell number by PM. Give me a call and we can make arrangements.

If you're in a pinch, and you're just looking for a reg with a safe switch, I have a Fromeco Arizona you can borrow if it helps...
