imported_Aqwut I would have to say that the Turnigy Lipos are the best bang for the buck lipo out there.. some of their packs even do much better than some/most of the high end lipos out there.. Right now, I'm very happy with the Nano-Tech lipos from Turnigy.

And as for chargers, I would recommend something that is made by hyperion. But, that's just my personal preference.

imported_rcguy There are some pretty wicked deals on hobbyking.com

Site ships from singapore but the quality of the stuff is great.
Bought a full alloy ccpm 450 heli and its just as good as my trex heli if not better. And the price was only $45 compared to $300

Running their lipo packs, motor and gyro and everything works great.

TriggerHappy Thought I'd update on the outcome of my little shopping adventure. I spend a lot of time reading and researching on the net before I buy stuff and I came across the iCharger lineup. I specifically purcahsed the iCharger 208B. The only thing other chargers have on it is the ability to charge two types of batteries at once. For its price point, thats just not a feature I care about, I paid $180 for the charger, it handles up to 8s in series, since the flux only needs 6s to charge both I'm good there and it handles up to 32V/20A. Its got a rediculous amount of features and the manufacturer updates the firmware based on interactive public feedback I found here:

Making it a constantly improving product. I did go with the Turnigy lineup of LiPos..hopefully they fit ok, they're 49mm wide I'm a bit worried about that with the flux's batt compartments it will be very tight.

Crazy hard to believe how much RC has changed since I was running the old Savage 25.

bobf24 it actually wasn't too bad price wise if you look around you can find them for $50 - $60 US, they are converted CPU power supplies I think but they work good though, maxamps sells basically the same thing too but it costs a little more since they put their stickers on it, lol,

Holy smokin a 47 amp powersupply? That sounds expensive and like it'll blow a couple fuses or something. Considering a lot of homes run on a 100A service geeez man.

EDIT: You know I just got to thinking:IDEA:, maybe because they only run at 12-15V the Amps can go way up...

imported_xxfile Oh ya you need a GOOD power supply... prob at least 18-20 amps thats another 100 bucks or so..
however i have charges 2 2cell 8000 mah packs at once using a converted computer power supply but they USUALLY wont power that..
its drawing 16 amps at 1C

imported_xxfile The best (but most expensive) go to max amps website and check out their flux combo package
comes with a hyperion duo charger that will cook 2 batts at the same time AND will sync them to each other too this is important for trucks that use 2 batts at a time..

Michael_Lambert I have had great success with using the Orion Advantage Twin Spec charger and the Ofna 18amp power supply. Batteries I have had no issues running the Turnigy brand 2 and 4S lipos.. However you do get what you pay for and when ordering from overseas your getting no customer service or warrenty.. I mean you do but when you guy a $30 lipo that is defective are you really going to spend $30 to ship it back ?? lol
