Re: Pocket mini scale Found this on eBay: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/DIGITAL-POCKE...ht_3282wt_1037 The Maple Leaf flag caught my eyes. Had a closer look and sure enough the store is in Vancouver. Bought one in-store. Wish they had one with 0.01g resolution but for that price I'm not complaining. Thanks everybody for your inputs. |

Re: Pocket mini scale All along I've been thinking there must be 2 groups of people who have exactly what I'm looking for. The other is jewelers. Ah, now I know why they sell "iPhone style" scales on eBay. Had a look at the head shops online. Looks like I'll still go for The Source or Asia. Thanks for the suggestion. |

Re: Pocket mini scale I'm kinda ashamed that I even know this but "head shops" carry quite a selection of small scales. I have no idea why they carry them though, LOL! Narly1 |

Re: Pocket mini scale I ordered one of these, an older version from these guys: http://www.canadianweigh.com/scales/jennings-jsv-series very accurate, mine was the 500g, they do not have any more, now it is 600g, had to make assorted foam stands in order to weigh my micro heli stuff on this small scale, but it works. For bigger stuff I got a digital kitchen scale. Dan |

Re: Pocket mini scale The Staples and CTC ones are too expensive and designed for kitchen use which means too low resolution (1g). I want 0.1g or even better 0.01g to work on my micro-heli. The Source has a pocket one 0.1gx650g for $20. Pretty much what I'm looking for but of course they don't stock those and say takes a week to get one. If I can't get locally or from Dennis, I'll probably just take the chance and buy on eBay from Asia for a few bucks. Thanks for the replies. P.S. Dennis, you've got PM. |

Re: Pocket mini scale Have you looked at "The Source"? (formerly known as 'Radio Shack') They have a lot of nice 'Little' things as does the new and improved CTC (kitchen section). IF memory serves I bought mydigital scale at CTC for about $14.00 two years ago. |

Re: Pocket mini scale I have a 300 gram.Nexxtech digital scale that I won at a fun fly a few years ago, that I have never used. If it suits your purpose, you can have it for the cost of shipping it to you. Batteries are dead in it, but my wife will get new ones for it this afternoon. Let me know if you want it. Send me a PM with your address and I'll check what shipping will be. Regards, Dennis |

Pocket mini scale Did a search but can't find anything. Where can I find relatively cheap digital pocket scale in the lower mainland (Vancouver) area for my micro heli? Prefer 0-100g (or more) in 0.1g (or even better 0.01g) increment. |
