Re: T-rex 600 Tail bobbing.

Try a couple of different throttle settings in your idle-up, like 60% or 70%. See if the bobbing frequency is related to head speed. If it's a head balance issue it will be related to a specific harmonic and should not persist at "other" head speeds (or the plane of the bob might shift from straight pitch). If it persists at various head speeds I'd suspect a control issue... servos or maybe even swash bearings.

This might sound trite, but check that your mixes are clear.

Does the bobbing persist in translational flight, or is it just in hover.

Re: T-rex 600 Tail bobbing.

I'm not sure how finnincky the 750 is but I had a 780 that I never did get to work on a trex 500tt. I could however get it working on a hk450 belt drive. It bobbed more than it wagged all though there was some side to side movement with it as well.

Re: T-rex 600 Tail bobbing.

I have tried the orignal set of dampners and the kds green ones aswell. I have the gp 750. The tail isnt wagging from side to side just up and down. was going to try it but looks like rain here maybe later today if the rain stops.
thanks

Re: T-rex 600 Tail bobbing.

What kind of gyro do you have on there? If it's a gp780 and you switched to a torque tube that could be your problem. 780's hate any vibration. As well did you change your dampeners?

Re: T-rex 600 Tail bobbing.

I had a look at the servos and links and every thing seems ok. I did spin the the head with out the blades on it and I thought I felt a slight widdlt on the tail boom. I took the boom off and spun the head useing a cordless drill on the torque tube. I think but dont quote me on it that i have a slightly out torque tube. I now have 2 bearing in the tube and feels better by hand but the only way to tell if its fixed is fly it. Ill let you know later today.

Re: T-rex 600 Tail bobbing.

worn servo! Could be. Being that everything else is new it could be the servo. Everything is spinning way to fast for it to be a slow bobble. If it was shafts, bearings or moving parts it would be a fast vibration would it not?

Re: T-rex 600 Tail bobbing.

I have the exact problem with my 500 clone. I know for sure it's my elevator servo, has some play in the gears, just waiting for servos in the mail. it's annoying for now. hope this helps.
