Re: I just launched a Kickstarter to help bring my Page Aviation kits back to market

This thread has been dormant for a while, but I was looking at Adrian Page aviation site and asking about kits, but no reply.
Hope Mr. Page is good, even if away from RC planes. Anyone has any idea? Did anyone take over the plan/kit production from Mr. Page?

Haven't seen this fellow around at any local fun flies with these kits, which I find pretty bizarre. Any updates? everyone get their kits ?

I've got the 40 in span Cub done, except for the wing struts. Put a micro steerable tailwheel on it. Other than the struts, and setting up servo throws, she's all ready to fly. It was a fun build, and the design, fit of parts, and quality were all first rate.

I have emailed him directly 3 times since friday may 29th asking questions about the 40" cub kit and he has responded in a timely manner. I too, would not be happy if i paid for something and havent received it he said delivery on a small cub kit would be a couple days. Hope to purchase one when he lets me know the total with shipping.
Has anyone built one yet??

Terry that's a shame, I was hoping to get one of the Gee Bees when he got caught up! Guess I'll have to look elsewhere!

Building season is here, where are the kits?
Still don't have a complete kit... 13 months and counting. Buyer beware.

Re: I just launched a Kickstarter to help bring my Page Aviation kits back to market

Hi Cameron,

Thanks for the tips,

Just noticed there is no CG on the plans,? (Adrian?)

Can I ask your 'Just Right' (distance from LE) CG Cameron?

I'm thinking an old (needs to be run !) K/B Veco.19 swinging an APC 10-3...

Got some williams WW1 wheels that fit the wheelpants perfect !
Skiis too !
Floats will be awesome...
And a 'Lead Belly Skid', to fly it with 'Handlaunched' Retracts ! ! !

Just a few things to get at the LHS,
Then I'm taking the snow shovel, to clear off the workbench !

The fun part while buiding,
Is the fun,
THEN,
You get to FLY it ! ! !

Take care,
Have fun,

Cross Check, I built the newbee when it was featured in an issue of RCM about thirteen years ago. Still have it. Balanced right, it flies great. It looks like it shouldnt fly at all but does. The stall is very gentle, and if you keep holding full up elevator while stalled, it will recover and stall again and again with a slow decent. Its actually kinda funny to see. It takes off when it wants to so dont try to force it off. just give it plenty of runway. Landings are easy as a trainer. Youll love this kit.
