Re: 1/4 Scale Cessna 337

Yes, I should be sending more regular updates, sorry about that. Í've finished the 1/10th scale Sunderland for 423 Squadron, and presented that. I'm back into full production on the remaining parts for the Ziroli P-38s, and expect to have those done and shipped sometime next week. After that, Leeann will be cutting all the templates for the 337, the FW TA-152s, and possibly Spitfires, but waiting on some decisions about those, so the 337s will start getting parts cut soon, and regular updates with pics of the progress!

Great, thanks for that. I'm still working on getting the P-38s and the PBY's done, work is really getting in the way of my hobby time. With luck, I'll have them done this weekend, packed and shipped, then on to the rest. Leeann has some horrible flu, so hasn't started any templates. I think she's a wimp, she could lie on the floor with a bucket beside her and keep working! lol

Sorry to hear about your both's loses guys, i feel your pain but that's just the part of this great hobby and risk we have learned to take. Dave sorry, i couldn't get back to you on the fuselage of C336/7, i started building wing for my big 1/12th scale Concorde over long weekend and it took all 4 nites n 3 days of the weekend. I will open up the plans today at some point and will get back to later on in evening or tonite what i think about it.

Here is link to my big edf Concorde build on here, thought u might want to see:

Re: 1/4 Scale Cessna 337

Hey. Sorry to hear, I had a strut fail on my 8 foot Turbo Beaver, wings mostly intact, and the tail, but the fuse is a wreck. I'm still working on getting the P-38s and PBYs out the door, that will take the rest of the week. I need a few hours to really go over the plans, and figure out the fuse, but Leeann can start doing all the templates for the wing, and tail feathers, and get those prepped. It won't be till sometime in June though, to get them all done. Military is eating up a lot of my time, as we get closer to flying the new Cyclone.

How many guys want to do C337 Variants on here, pls let us know. Thanks

Dave,

I don't have the price numbers either, at this time it's guestimate that numbers would be higher and that's why i suggested to know how many of us would want retractable version. Once we can establish the cost's numbers then i'm sure whoever is making them for these can be talked into making say 5 sets at one time at a better n reasonable price.

Other option would be to get factory drawings of the main's retraction and articulation system to see and have someone in hobby with lithe machine make these for us, that way price on all 5 sets would be much much lower then getting these from commercially.....
