Re: Carden 40% 260 Rebirth By Brendan I got the Pro 300. The one with the longer canopy. Lee has the special which looks much like a 330 (single-seat) canopy. I do like the looks of the shorter canopy but also like the idea of being able to see the fuel tank through the front of the canopy. |

Re: Carden 40% 260 Rebirth By Brendan I got to witness first hand all the work Don put into building that plane, many hours. I don't have the facilities or knowledge to build something like that, I"ll let you guys build em and I'll buy the finished product. Anyway I need a bigger garage before I go bigger than the 30% Extra, as learned today it's a chore carrying this thing out of the basement. The club got a glimpse of it today for the first time in the display at the mall.....definitely need a trailer, trucks to small.

Re: Carden 40% 260 Rebirth By Brendan It sure does Dave. I have to say that being my first Carden build (rebuild) the parts fit the 5 year old plane like a glove. That is big part of what convinced me to buy another kit. I was headed for another 260 but the look on Don's face and his repeating the word "Pro" quietly several times made me rethink the 260 kit. Within 10 minutes or so, Don, Rick and Lee had me rethinking my plan completely. |
