Re: Winter Blues IMAC Get Together Woodstock, ON **AMR-Raffle** Hey Guys/Galls, Well, I think our Winter Blues Get Together was a Success! It was great to see good friends and make new ones as well! I want to thank all who made it out on Saturday + a big thank for helping out and bringing snacks/munchies!! Not forgetting Brian M and his Mom Marlene who apparently had a cup cake and cookie cook off! We had about 25 pilots show up, pilots from Chatham, ON through to Toronto area, even a newbie all the way from Teeswater, ON (thanks for coming down Jerry!) Also had some “local” Woodstock Club members come out; Matt, Toni (what a great character, Leslie may leave me for you Toni!!!), Steve Ruxton and his son Eric (nice to see young fliers interested) and a few others 46 pilots had signed up for the draw and the “lucky” winner was # 28…who turned out to be Jim Wilhelm from New Hamburg, ON. Jim was unable to make it Saturday but picked up he’s new toy Sunday once I got out of bed. I’ve first met Jim back in late 08’ in Mitchell, ON after selling a DA150 to his friend Kevin Jones. Jim also came down to Stratford, ON in 09’ for the IMAC PRIMER. Jim is a great guy who will really enjoy his new airplane!! (couldn’t have gone to a better Gent!!) Congrats again Jim!!! I believe we are all now ready for the snow to melt and get out to burn some fuel!!! Leslie and I thank you all for coming down and making it such a great evening!
