Re: Balsa USA. Fokker dv111

Pleasure was all mine Mike! Once we set-up the throws, dual rates, and throttle, I was happy with how it flew, just had to add a couple clicks of down elevator and that was it. Plane flew very scale like, I really had to "fly" it with a combination of throttle, rudder and aileron though but, wow did it ever look beautiful on those low flybys.
Glad your happy Mike

Hey Mike,

Awesome news!!

The best way to upload vids is to either put it on Youtube.com or Vimeo.com and then come here and post a link to the video (once it's uploaded).

Cheers,
J

Well boys it finally happened today, I finally got the Fokker D8 up and flying today. It was a beautiful sight watching it take off from the ground and into the air. The plane had a large presence in the air. Thanks to Jonathan for doing the test flight and setup today. In his hands it look great. Here's a short video I will have more some time next week, I only had the typical cell phone cam so I apologize for the vid quality.

Well ok guys I can't get video to load. Is it possible to load an mpeg4 video file here onto my build thread if so can some one tell me how please.

Look at Glen Torrence for cockpit details. They used to be listed a mini kits.

www.flygtm.com

Arizona has a very poor reputation for delivering and quality of details.

Amazing work Mike!

I've seen parts up close and the pictures don't do this justice. Mike when all out on this right down to the scale pull-pull setup on the controls surfaces!

Can't wait to see it fly.

Hi

If you don,t get the right day ,.................. don,t do it . This is the hardest time , " THE WAIT " . I really don,t think you need luck , it,s a option that you cann,t build into the aircraft .

Waiting

Michel
