Re: Hamilton Air show performers What an awesome show! There were a few additional "no shows": the Vintage Wings Lysander and an FM-2 Wildcat from the US come to mind. On Saturday, the Cornell didn't fly... she taxied out with the other trainers, but must have had some last-minute snag. The Vintage Wings Hurricane stayed on the ground as well. The fellow doing the aerobatic routine in the Beech 18 is an absolute nut-case. Some of those passes looked low enough to scrap paint. Ended his routine with a "burnout" in the taxiway, smoke on. Not to be outdone... the Lanc did the same thing later (minus the smoke).  Have not been a big Mustang fan until now, but that one in RCAF markings, with the camo & yellow is really sharp. |

Re: Hamilton Air show performers Thanks, I may check them out if Sunday's weather is soggy. I'm used to driving 90 minutes to get to my "local" hobby shop, so 50km is no biggy. |

Re: Hamilton Air show performers I see there are a few late cancellations. Too bad, I was looking forward to seeing the 190. Seeing some possible rain in the forecast for Sunday... any good hobby shops in the area that are open Sundays? |
