Re: Futaba gear

I have one I use. I just plugged an FM module in it. Seen as most people have gone 2.4 they do not mind. I have several AM sets some are the real cheap discount store brand. I use my scanner to test to see if they bother any other frequencies and not one of them do. Two are on frequencies between the regular ones and there is no side bleed at all. I flew AM for years. Like any radio stay away from metal buildings, you could get bounce back out of sync.

Re: Futaba gear

Will hopefully be building a Coroplast plane for the lake this summer coming up, and using an AM system in it. Got me lots of room there, and no interference.

Re: Futaba gear

I gave mine to the club flight school for buddy boxes.

Whoops, you said AM. Mine was FM. Don't know how compatible it would be, depending on age????

I sure would not use it for flying anything.
