Re: Forgot bind plug in just a thought as this happened to me once, check the magnets in the motor... upon crashing one may have come loose or broken? |

Re: Forgot bind plug in You should look into how to set your fail-safes, if you haven't already. It isn't that difficult and can save a plane |

Re: Forgot bind plug in How is your battery powering the ESC? Sounds like it could be low charge or not able to provide enough current and the ESC is doing a low voltage warning. Did you do, if required, a calibration of the ESC to teach it the right throttle channel range of the new Rx? If you put the exact same Rx in I guess it should not need it but......??? Maybe the ESC just failed? I read somewhere of those exact symptoms being a failed ESC. |

Re: Forgot bind plug in Any chance that you powered up with some throttle which entered the ESC into program mode? Cheers Floyd |

Re: Forgot bind plug in Adjusted basic settings after i bound reciever.left bind plug in then i tried to throttle up that is when i noticed it was pulsing and low on thrust.seemed to bind properly motor beeped and all that good stuff but no power and surgeing even after i removed binde plug .never flew plane.tried to rebind several times same result every time.could it be the motor even though it worked good before i switched reciever.remember i switched receiver into new plane because i did not realize i needed a receiver for each plane. |

Re: Forgot bind plug in Let me try to break that down. Plane #1 - Crashed - Replaced ESC - Worked fine - Replaced Receiver - Adjusted settings - Forgot to remove bind plug - Not working now 1. What settings did you adjust? Basic settings like Sub Trim, Servo direction , Rates, etc.. are stored with the model on the Dx6(i). Ideally, you should be able to just a bind the new receiver and keep those basic settings the same. 2. What happened after you did the initial binding process? Did it bind properly? Did you fly the plane? When did it stop working? 3. What's happening now when you power up the system (without the bind plug)? Does the motor beep? Do the servos move? |
