Re: yak 54 Areoworks makes the yak in 90-120 size 72' wingspan 10lb 1.60 O.SFX would fit the bill nicely as well.I have been looking into this kit as well.Personally i would take this kit over the goldberg kit. |

Re: yak 54 It all depends what engine you have available or in mine for the plane. the Carl Goldberg is a 67" wingspan and the RTF is going to be around 10 lbs. At that weight you may want to consider an engine anywhere between a Saito 120 - 150 to have a decent pull out of a hover or with a different prop have a constant airspeed throughout an IMAC sequence. The Aeroworks as usual the quality is awesome but it is also a smaller plane with only 60", this plane weights around 6.5 lbs. I think both are great, but would I prefer the aeroworks over the Goldberg. I think that at 6.5 lbs, a Saito 100 would be awesome. Cheers, Will |

yak 54 Hello looking for a little help. Looking at a Carl Goldberg yak 54, for sale bye Highflight. Was wondering if this plane is well built, or if a guy should go with a areoworks yak 54. Both are in the .90 size catagory. Thank you |
