That's probably because blade uses servos of about the same quality.

To each their own and you pay the consequences of your own actions.

It is, and it's also noted in the front of the manual of most quality brand helicopters.

There are a lot of hobbies that are dangerous to ones health. Like anything else though, if you educate yourself, take the proper precautions, buy quality gear, and maintain that gear (check it before every flight) .... your risk will be minimized and you should be able to enjoy the hobby without fear.

Anything moving through the air at that speed could do some damage. Helis are starting to sound like a very very dangerous hobby.

AND as discussed in earlier threads, there was a time when people said this about HiTec, now they make some nice servos.
A projectile with a mass of approximately 1KG striking you in the head at highspeed (approximately 428kph at the blade tips of a 325mm main blade) will kill you ... very likely to be life threatening.

This has nothing to do with supporting local shops, it has to do with putting a price on someones safety/health/life.

As much as I'd like to have your business, I wouldn't be upset if you purchased elsewhere. It's a global market and I understand that, and compete very well in it on a regularly basis. We're a very small business, but we've built a solid positive reputation and because of that, we continue to grow by leaps and bounds.

I have no idea how to respond to this or why you're brought up DMSS? It's working flawlessly and people have been running it without issues for over a year now. It uses 3x more bandwidth than it's closest competitor and combines the best features (spread spectrum / frequency hopping / etc.) of all the other protocols out there.

I'm sorry to hear that your LHS isn't competitive ... similar circumstances led me to start this business so I can understand both sides of the fence.
