Jaketab: Yes absolutely. This thread is simply amazing. I have been going through this one and yours for the longest time. Mine is still a long way from completion, but I am really tempted to sell my 210 for the 280. I will check out the other thread as suggested.
thanks

Glad to see this thread revived. I benefited from it well when I built my EMHW Pitts 2 years ago. Trevor did good work illustrating his build.
Ragz - I believe you have already discovered my build on FG. I went with the Valach 210 and ended up adding weight to the tail to balance. The 280 would be a definite nose heavy plane, but still manageable.

Supermod56 on FG is building the Christen Eagle with the 280.
Good luck. Hope you will post pictures.

Hi Trevor,

I will be scanning these pages over the next few months for pics and tips for the build. I was wondering if you ever considered putting up your build pics of both the planes on google drive? That way guys like me could access them easily for reference. Maybe you should even consider writing an instruction manual Bet yours would surpass whatever exists... by the way I don't have one... Can you email me the manual pls?

thanks,

Cheers
A

Anurag... great chatting with you via email. Good luck on this build and good luck with the 35% ChallengerIII project also

The 58% Pitts was always a show favorite the way it lumbered around in the sky with the sound of that sweet 4-stroke. So far the most scale plane I've ever had a chance to fly so far!!

Trevor's Pitts was built, flown for 2 or 3 seasons & ultimately sold a few years ago. I did get to watch it fly & have several photos of it in this album dedicated to it.

Hello RC Community of Canada,

Just acquired a EMHW Pitts S1 3.04m. In process of reviewing this thread. This is one of the most detailed build threads I have discovered for the Pitts. I will be referencing it many times throughout my build.

Thanks an kind regards,
Jaketab
