Re: My new extra 300 has left me at a lose for words I'd like to extend a Big Thank You once again to all the people that helped Gaston out in his valiant effort to see me in the air once again with such a great plane. I'm having loads of fun this summer, sure miss that little guy. It would be sporting the wheel pants if one hadn't fallen off....funny thing is I check the bolts on them before I flew the day (it looks better with pant). It'll be sporting a new set next spring. Re: My new extra 300 has left me at a lose for words Got four good flights in today; it was a good day adjusting radio mixes and even threw in a few maneuvers. Would have flown more but wanted to check the plane for anything coming loose or any issues. Aside from landing in a puddle and spraying grass and water all over the plane it was a success, flies as good as the old plane did. Going to knock another 1/2 oz off the nose and see how it feels. I could probably make it through a few round with the way it is but will be going back out Sunday to do a little more fine tuning. Thanks Gaston, old friend, and everyone else that contributed. |
