It covers really well; do not mix so much.

Re: Krylon paint for cowlings

My Oracolor from the UK arrived today - about 10 days after ordering. Kind of surprised at how light the paint is.

The paint came to me today. I ordered it from mainlyplanesntrains on 10th of January
Guys just to do not change the proportions 1 hardener to 2 paint. Reducer is from Hhome-Depot

Sussex Model Center has charged my credit card so I assume the Oracolor and hardener is on it's way.

Yes I have tried it and found that it softened with raw glow fuel, and really got soft with hot exhaust oils. It looked good but just never got that hard finish I was hoping for.

I ordered Oracolor paint from that e-bayer – mainlyplanesntrains on January 10 this year. I’ve not got it yet. With shipment it cost me $32. Expensive paint. When I get the paint I’ll post a delivery time here.

I put in an order with Sussex Model Center -- will see if they ship it or not.

Otherwise there's a seller on Ebay who indicates they will ship worldwide.

Re: Krylon paint for cowlings

No idea. But they have a spacial hardener for brushing

Also LANITZ-PRENA doesn't send paint to Canada. Try to find some other stores in UK or Germany

Re: Krylon paint for cowlings

Would the Oracolor paint with the hardener for brushing make a smooth finish on a fibreglass cowl? I don't really want to invest in and learn airbrushing at this point, but I had bad results using brushed on latex. I'll make the investment if I have to but I'm worried what I'll do to the basement

This one: LANITZ-PRENA FOLIEN FACTORY GmbH
Leipzig
Deutschland

https://www.oracover.de

Shipping by DHL is very fast and the shipment is usually 25 Euro; thus, buy at once
