Re: Flying Tigers Scale Aerobatic Encounter 2011 Scores are posted on IMAC site! http://www.mini-iac.com/Portals/0/Re...t_results.html Checkout all the other contests. I think our two Ontario contests so far had more Advanced and Unlimited pilots then any other contest in NC. Where did everyone go? To that point checkout this thread on FG..... http://www.flyinggiants.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=66353 |

Re: Flying Tigers Scale Aerobatic Encounter 2011 MY APPOLOGIES TO EVERYONE WHO ATTENDED THE FLYING TIGERS 2011SCALE AEROBATIC ENCOUNTER I SCR*WED UP! Quote:
I received an email from Brian Sanik informing me we had the wieghting set incorrectly for the Unknown scores during the contest. When I reset it to the correct wieghting the outcome in two of the classes is significant. I appoligize for this but it means some plaques will need to be exchanged between people either in Sudbury or Ottawa or the NATS. Unfortunately you are affected Bill as is most of the intermediate class Made a small change in Sportsman and was only points differece in Advanced. Unlimited was unaffected. See the attached pdf file for the new results which should be posted on IMAC site within the next day or two. Once again I appoligize for my mistke. IMAC willl be contacting the software guy to try and get him to make the unknown scoring section default to the 20% wieghting they want everyone to use. |

FYI my tail feathers are fixed and ready to go for next weekend. After much thought I decided to go back to the yellow colour, the peacock affect with Brendan's red scheme was interesting, however this plane has had two midairs now and I hope it never sees another one. |

Re: Flying Tigers Scale Aerobatic Encounter 2011 Jim - not to pester but maybe I am missing something. I don't find any scores on Penelope and it does not seem to be updated with any regularity, and I don't see the scores on NC IMAC. Any ideas when we will see scores posted ? Its just useful to go back and do a little analysis and find out what needs improvement. The posted scores were useful in this regard. Would be helpful learning before Sudbury |
