Re: Is the hercules really unbreakable - or just a gimmick? Thank you gentlemen, after reading the comments I think it may be wise to pass on this one and go with the 4 channel and mode 2. Have great day and stay warm. |

Re: Is the hercules really unbreakable - or just a gimmick? Sending the unit back and forth to california for warrantee work could be expensive and a pain. A small double rotor heli can be had locally for a very reasonable price and just make sure parts are available. Do a google search, maybe someone sells it locally. |

Re: Is the hercules really unbreakable - or just a gimmick? Unbreakable or not may be beside the point. IMHO It says 3.5 channel, that's nothing but silly marketing. This machine likely doesn't have roll control and rudder is likely on the right stick. I've seen a LOT of these machines and that seems to be the norm with the 3.5 channel cheap machines. So, if you're trying to introduce your son to R/C, I'd say pick up something that is actually 4 channel and mode 2. That way he's learning the typical convention, right from the start. There are plenty of options in in the $50-$75 range with replacement part support etc etc etc Just my $.02 |

Re: Is the hercules really unbreakable - or just a gimmick? I notice they never stomp on the tail boom, rotors or rotor head. |

Re: Is the hercules really unbreakable - or just a gimmick? That's true, why are they selling replacable parts if they are unbreakable to begin with, hummmm? that was funny |

Re: Is the hercules really unbreakable - or just a gimmick? I'm skeptical. Anything is breakable. It's probably pretty durable, but probably still breakable. Found this to be funny... unbreakable helicopter with parts bundle: http://www.hobbytron.com/GYRONanoHer...tsBundle.html# |

Is the hercules really unbreakable - or just a gimmick? Hi guys, I came across this small Hercules helicopter they advertise as being unbreakable - I thought it would be a good idea to start my teenage son on this toy. Has anyone had any experience with this one? Thank you in advance for your valued comments. http://www.worldtechtoys.com/product...elicopter.html Balbir BLUE SKYS + GREAT FLYS |
