Those 7950's seem to be having some issues....I think I'll stay clear of that. Boy, talk about hijacking my own thread....this started out looking for wing bags.....holy mission creep batman

Why are you going with 2 rudder servos? Just get 1 really powerful servo.

No....922 pwr safe or the spectrum equivalent.

4 ailerons, 2 elevators, 2 rudders, throttle, ign cutoff, and down the road possibly smoke....

that makes 11 channels required, only got 9.

1 of my club members has a programmer I can borrow.

I think this is the age old GS dilema, nothing new here. I just rufuse to go with power expanders, so until I upgrade my radio, I don't really see how else to do it....unless I telepathically command the additional servos to move in unison.....oaaaooommmmmmm.....feel the force Luke.....

Well, I guess the concearn with y-ing on larger A/C would be the 2 servos in combination requiring more than 3 amps....which is the max rating for the JR/Futaba connector plugs. I don't see any difference though between what you suggest and simply y-ing and using a Hitec programmer. If the 2 servos exceed 3 amps together, even with a Matchbox you'd still be pulling that excess draw from a JR style plug from the receiver to the matchbox.....Maybe I'm missing something here....anyone want to chime in?

Either way the best solution would be to get an 11x or 12x and adjust all the servos from the txmitter

Also you gotta remember, this is primarily intended as an IMAC setup...I doubt I'm gonna have a huge current draw, especially with a properly programmed and geometrically correct setup. As an aside, I am planning on going with a powersafe reciever.

Yesterday I ordered a DA 120 with MTW 75 Cans, Mej 26x12 narrow 3 blade, Vess balance ring.

On sat I will pick up my Hitec 7955's from GH when I'm in Edmonchuck.

Still have left to get: spinner, servo extensions, y-harnesses, receiver and oh....a trailer
