If you REALLY want to scare the Pilot, tell that if he messes up again he is going to be driving a SEA KING!

OK, don't trust a German pilot to joyride in a Japanese fake Zero. Seems he didn't like something on the take-off run, so after only a couple of inches off the ground, set the plane back down, and somehow popped one main gear out. Argh. There's going to be a serious flight de-briefing, while the techs do the repairs, put on a new prop, and auth another test flight. Fortunately, no other damage. At least the engine got tuned up on the ground, and is running well.

True enough! So few German tanks running around. Bit pricey to run too, I'd be happy with an American Sheridan Tank, good curb appeal, fast, easier on the diesel than most, and certainly commands the right of way in all driving situations! lol

LOL yeah! You could pretty much stick a long tube on any vehicle, paint the whole thing dark grey, add a few German markings and have a Hollywood Panzer!

Was watching "A Bridge Too Far" a few months back and realized the tank in one scene was a Leopard! Hey, at least it really is/was a German tank...

They had real P-40s for Tora Tora Tora, but there's some homebuilt P-40s, Loehle being the most popular. I've seen lots of Hollywood Panzers though!

Re: Top Flite Hollywood Zero

Need to invent a "Hollywood P-40". Maybe Piper Cherokees in AVG markings?

Finally got the eflite retracts, and everything installed, so just need to set toe-in, file the flat spots for the bolts, and the Zero is ready to chase some P-40s around the field!

Good, but it's a play on "God is my Co-Pilot". Best I could do, spur of the moment!
