Nice Flying Tom!
We shared this with our Stetson Aerobats to give everyone the view we'd all like to have!

Hi Tom,

We should invite you next year to come and do the 2015 Basic IMAC sequence after the freestyle over the Stetson field during our IMAC contest.

That would be quite an attraction.

From what I've seen so far (which is almost nothing - only 2014):
Primary (which is what IAC calls Basic) is way easier than IMAC Basic.
Sportsman in IAC is about as difficult as Basic in IMAC.
At the rest of the levels, IMAC is slightly more difficult than IAC.

I did a quick comparison of the K factors for the secquences:
IAC:
Primary: 39
Sportsman: 136
Intermediate: 188
Advanced: 261
Unlimited: 408

IMAC:
Basic: 136
Sportsman: 213
Intermediate: 285
Advanced: 366
Unlimited: 471

Yep.. not required. With the higher wing loading, all you need is rudder and elevator for snaps and spins.

Here's another example (fast forward to 2:13):

My time flying IMAC sure has helped. I already know what the airplane SHOULD be doing for each maneuver, it's figuring out how to make it happen while I'm also along for the ride

It is. It's this one:

I decided to finally do the aerobatics "rating" at Rockcliffe Flying Club in Ottawa. It's as much fun as it looks. Although just doing the Basic sequence is quite a work out. I don't know how the full-scale Unlimited guys do it.

Hey Tom, that was real cool, love it. BTW, no ailerons on the spin?

What is the airplane? Is it a full scale version of C-BEER?

Very nice video, must have been a blast.
