Jim, when being attacked, it's always important to consider the source of said attack. In this case, I'm not concerned

Thanks for keeping me on my toes Rick. My only excuse is that I failed kindergarten.

In my defence, I believe I was correct in answering Tyler's original question. It is a PULL over the top of the humpty with the rolls on the up and down lines in the same direction.

No there is not. So small radius.

There is no radius criteria on how long or tight the PULL at the top of the Humpty is. So if you were pretty well setup on your line to begin with you can still perform this maneuver and not get to far out or in by doing it.
Also when in this situation choose to fly the top pull into the wind when possible. You virtually remain unchanged in your cross box position. The top radius can be very small...

Any portion of the plane that is across the deadline is cause for a zero of that particular maneuver.

Jason,

Cross Box manouvers, which is what this Humpty is, are designed to allow a pilot to re-position themselves spacially to the flightline. It is there to allow you to shift your track either in or out depending on wether you were in or out to begin with. So if you were kinda close into the deadline when you started the Humpty it will allow you to get out further and avoid those nasty Zeros (0). Conversley if you find you are havong to squint to see your airplane it give you a chanc to bring it in so the Judges can actually see it. There is no radius criteria on how long or tight the PULL at the top of the Humpty is. So if you were pretty well setup on your line to begin with you can still peform this manouver and not get to far out or in by doing it.

I always like to do this manouver in if I can but I tend to fly out a little further then most although it's something I am really going to concentrate on this year as it cost me an airplane last year.
