Re: SmartFly and ignition Cutoff?? Rotor crazy . thanks for the advice. After around 6 hours trying this and that nothing worked.. Got home early today from work and pulled out all the wiring and double checked to make sure connectors were plugged in right. And they were.. So i checked to make sure that I had voltage there and perfect. I wanted to see what the fiber optic cable looked like . Well I found the problem that the fiber optic cable was cut by a BC beaver. I trimmed it square a and plugged it all back in and shazam the red light came on.. also the green light that I was referring to was is right next to the fiber optic cable on the smartfly sport plus . It works at the same time as the red led.. Thanks again James |

Re: SmartFly and ignition Cutoff?? The red LED on the ignition side of the optical cut off is there to indicate a live ignition module. Assuming you have it wired correctly on of the spare channels on your radio toggles this on an off. The LED illuminated means the ignition is live. If you can't get it to work and all else looks correct try turning the universal connector around, if it's backwards the LED won't light. On my cut off, there is nothing to force you to plug it in correctly, you have to take note of the -+ printed on the ICB. |

SmartFly and ignition Cutoff?? Im writing this note to ask for help.I posted in anther section but thought it might be better here. On the smartfly ignition cut off there is a RED LED that I thought was to turn on with ignition. I can get the ignition Green LED to turn on in the smartfly power system but not the red one.. Thanks i can add picture later for better understanding as to waht I mean.. James |
