Old memories!!!! So yesterday my flying buddies and I toured the local consignment shop. Which in itself is a bad idea. Good thing I left my cheque book at home lol. Looking at about 75 aircraft for sale I come across a little Freedom 20. This little bird has a special place in my heart. My father and I attempted to scratch build one of theses about 25 years ago. We were never able to complete the build due to missing parts in the kit. She brought back so many memories of me and the old man glueing fingers together, hours of sanding and just great bonding time. I had to buy her. She isn't very big or fast but she will always be my first ever R/C plane!! |
