Re: 14 mz battery upgrades Ed: If you do this I would like to see the end result, maybe at Maidenfest when I come out of hibernation. Found an MZ and for now I ordered the ebay bats figuring if I have 6 I can last longer than long enough for anything life throws my way. |

I used hot glue to hold it in place, and used hot glue to insulate parts to be sure of no shorting. And the plug for the batt. I should mention, I also glued in magnets to keep the door closed, the lip that normally keeps it closed is lost in the process. You can see it in the previous pic I posted. |

Re: 14 mz battery upgrades Hank, how much of transmitter did you have to cut out. I took an old battery. Cut it open, not that easy, and replaced the batteries with 2600 liion framenco. I also did something I said I'd never do. I bought some packs off eBay from China for around $30 for 2 with charger. They do the job. I was thinking of putting in a lipo, but I did not want to cut the radio. |
