Re: Bind plug, are they specific to one RX?

Thanks for the good news guys. I was hoping it would be that simple. I have another bind plug so I am good to go, and I like the idea of stashing it in the TX.

I believe most spektrum remotes actually have a spot in the battery compartment to store it if you want to.

When you get one, scotch tape it to the bottom of your transmitter.

Yes waylander is correct, any one will work, you can also make one from an old servo plug with leads, just cut the center lead out and strip and twist the outside ones together and you have a binding plug, all it does is shorts signal to ground.

Any bind plug will work. The "bind plug" is really just a jumper, you could do the same thing as the bind plug with a paper clip in a pinch.

Bind plug, are they specific to one RX?

I have an RX (spectrum) with no bind plug. Will any bind plug (spectrum) work in any spectrum RX, or do I need the specific plug that came with it? Thanks for any info, fixer.
