that's when you take one of the wings off the plane, and use it as a paddle on their face..

All joking aside.... "What happened?"'s are definitely my least favorite part of this hobby. I blame no one but myself for every crash I've ever had... they were, every one, preventable via the use of more brain, more skill, or better maintenance. When I'm busy dwelling on how I've most recently cost myself a lot of money, pride, or both the last thing I want to do is explain exactly how I fuct this one up... one on one... to each of my peers on hand. Formulate your own opinion, and ask me at the next event if you're still curious... by then I'll be through being angry at myself and ready to laugh about how spectacular a thud it made and how dumb I can be.

You should tell them "No, no, I always open them up like this after I land just to check that everything is ok!"

Another Pet peeve......

OK partly my own fault....ie Putting my headphones on and forgetting to adjust the on screen volume before watching an RC plane video...... then consequently having my eardrums ruptured by some pillock who dosent realize his/her mouth is just millimeters from the camera's microphone while they cackle like some demented banshee, yapping their heads off while filming someone else flying.

I just wanna clap em hard upside THEIR ears to see how they like it.......Geeze guys,,,,,,,,Just quit yapping when filming, Eh ?

So many times....what otherwise would've been a very good vid is totally wrecked by the extraneous (overly loud) commentary .

Airplanes were around long before a Canadian decided to add powered flight to the equation.
Just thinking out loud.

Gliders are real airplanes too.

Re: Pet Peeves and Insults

Know your Canadian... Two wrongs don't make a right.. but neither wright made the first airplane.. check the Canada aviation and space museum..

http://aviation.technomuses.ca/colle...A_Silver_Dart/

Sorry boys.. and girls... but the silver dart flew 5 years prior to the the two wrongs..

just like the telephone.. and the light bulb... oh yea.. it was invented by a Canadian.. who sold the paten to Edison.. who two years later announced it..

And the greatist of all.. do a google on an F-108 ,, look like something built in Malton Ontario.. with the wings of the British TSR2 built about the same time..
