that power supply would be useless for the hyperion charger the op has. His charger can do 1000 watts, and the power supply you've shown can only do 144 watts (12v x 12a)

I have power supplies for these all converted and ready to go....check out the electronics classifieds

they are converted server power supplies and are very reliable.

op already said he doesn't want to mod his psu, but buy them done

As far as I recall the tjyintechguy website pages have little or nothing to do with modifying or recycling servers into power supplies.... there are good sections, in my opinion, on discussing how to gauge what you need in the way of off the shelf power supplies and chargers.

Take a look at this website..... www.tjinguytech.com..... he has some good information on mating what power supply to what level of charger and some math that may help you with figuring out "how much better" 24v is likely to be over a reasonably robust 12 volt charger.

Another resource may be to post a query on the rcgroups thread that discusses Hyperion chargers, including the one you have.....
