I've seen one Aerovate deadstick twice and one grenade. Look into the DLE20, lots of power and great reviews so far. Azure and GH carry them.

I am trying to stay away from nitro and go with gas. I am not sure what size tank. I read above about a 10oz so I could do that or 12oz?

I see our local shop as a 20 and 26cc Aerovate gas motor for just over $220-250 I think I might get one of those.

My engine of choice would be the reliable, powerful, lightweight O.S 160FX 2 stroker with a vp30 perry pump.

I have seen this engine in a 22 lbs trainer , at our field , my jaw stayed open .

Have a look , and support is as good or better , than the high ranking engines , and last , it,s 50% , Canadian . truly awesome .

I vote for the CRRC Pro 26r, mostly because we have a Canadian distributor.
Just my 2 cents worth.

Another thing is to really try and keep it under 11 lbs.

You mean this I guess

Looks like you can shoe horn the motor in no problem - I would only be concerned if the weight of motor is vastly greater or smaller than the 120 for balance. From own experience this engine is easy to start and bags of power - very quick engine response to throttle - lots of power should handle and model 10-13lbs 80-84" wingspan 16 or 17" prop - Should save a fortune on cost of nitro vice gas - From 1 gallon or 3.9L I got about 20 flights that were 20min long on a 10oz tank using a CRRC Pro 26.

Canadian Dealership got parts and services them - Paragon also does testing on the motors before they go out the door - I give 5 x 5star rating for service is always excellent and fast.

My last model was 12lbs 82" using 16x8 prop good vertical but not unlimited - cruised great at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle for all most all stunts.

Started brandnew motor just now on Sig 1/4scale Spacewalker II - Started up very easy! now for the break-in before I go to IMAA Kingston 21/22 Aug
