Re: Binding A9000

With lots of testing and trials I got it!!!
I took the receiver to my buddys house and we simulated the binding process with his DX9 the first bind to his radio it bound perfect and had full control of the flight surfaces!! We then did a preset bind to the receiver with his DX9 and it bound again perfect!! We then tried my DX 7 and the bind was perfect?????And had full control of the flight surfaces. We then powered down both units and did a controled start up radio first then the plane!!! Perfect full control immediately. Got it!! We then did another full bind to the receiver for repeatability and was absolutely 100% successful.
We then put in a data recorder into the receiver and did testing by going into another room and moving the sticks and we powered down the radio to simulate brown out. Recorder collected data and all was correct!! Im feeling very good about this receiver!! But the question still remains.....what did his DX 9 do to the receiver to allow my old DX7 to bind properly???

Sorry, just a thought! I did read some time ago, binding too close can be a problem.

I feel your pain Keith, I've had issues crop up before with binding and it drives ya crazy!
Good luck anyways.

Re: Binding A9000

Just a thought, are you over 6 feet away with the TX when binding?
