Re: Combat Airframe Plans FW190 Design Log Ya........ I will do a new thread.......and may call it just that ! But lets get the bugs worked out......Wish I could upload more at one go. I want the end design to be in the "KISPAD" format (keep it simple)  This keeps the build fast.... Did a mod on the top turtle deck, cut out and add on, 3D curve did not work out. This makes it better for getting to the bulkheads, in the back. |

Re: Combat Airframe Plans FW 190 CORO The Start............................  This is the start of the 43" wing out of 2 mm coro and 1/4"x1" ply spar. Parts will be cut out of standard CHFG (Cobble Hills Fighter Group) sheet stock 48"x19" 2 mm and 32"x16" 4 mm. There will be no LG or gun pods on the combat model, but the centre line bomb rack may be used for a Flycam. After first buildup and test run I will make up a set of, draw your self, drawings with measurements to all pionts (like the Corospit plans on Spadtothebone). Hope to keep this one as scale like as I can, for a Combat Coro Plane.

Forget the rudder. Its useless and you'll save the weight of the extra servo Cosider mounting the engine with the cylinder 90* to the right and use a bisso pitts muffler. It will look neat inside the cowl without that ugly muffler hanging out the side. If you are using it for combat, scale it to 1/12, add 10% to the whole thing, then just scale up the wings to get the 43" span. my $.02 |
