On behalf of the "Sault boys",Kevin,Craig and myself,we would like to thank Lee,Brendan and whoever else was involved in putting on the seminar for a job well done.
We got to renew old friendships and make a few new ones and had a great time in the process.
Thanks guys

Thanks Lee and Brendan for a job well done, now if I could just remember all of this...that won't happen but I had a great time.
Good thing my little plane was in front, otherwise it would have been the size of your stab.

Re: IMAC Seminar in the GWN!

Thanks to Lee, Brendan and the GWN boys for the information day about IMAC. Each session I attend gives me greater understanding of the Aresti patterns and how they are supposed to be flown and how they are judged. I am looking forward to summer flying and putting this information to use as Scale Aerobatics puts challenge and purpose back into the hobby instead of just the random flying I was doing.
It was also great to see how Brendan has taken on the task of helping Dwight understand all of this. Not an easy task as Dwight is deaf, but has more enthusiasm for the hobby than most.

P.S I'm glad I got the stick plane model I did as I don't think I could handle the challenge of the Katana model that Craig got.

Re: IMAC Seminar in the GWN!

Well the weather played havoc with our seminar but twelve brave souls came for a wonderful day full of information, camaraderie, foamie flying and fun! Thanks go to our perennial boys from the Sault; Craig, Cec and Kevin for making the three hour trek ! A huge thanks to our sponsors -

Carden - who provided us with hats, shirts and prop covers
FoamStar - for a beautiful SBach foamie kit

We also had enough other prizes for everyone, and Brendan's beautifully made stick planes were very much appreciated by everyone

We covered a whole list of topics from learning Aresti to trimming to radio programming and a lot more. Brendan gave a great talk on contest preparation and calling and I finished up explaining the merits of futaba's new SBus system.

We also had some new planes to show off. I brought my Carden PRO Special which met with rave reviews, and Gaston Boissonault showed off a new 30% SBACH fully electric that he's flying Basic with this summer. Brendan Grace brought his Aeroworks Extra 260 with its new Graphtech carbon gear and used it do demonstrate IMAC throws to everyone.
All in all, a great day and I know everyone there went home happy and excited about the upcoming flying season!

Hi Lee
According to Lee, there will be some Tim Horton's coffee available at the school in the morning.
You will see three doors together at the back of the school, there will be a buzzer marked Indoor Flying one one of the doors, if they are locked.
Lee, I'll be issued a password from the School Board for their internet within the next couple days.

Plans are well underway as we try to make this seminar extra special. We hope to have many special prizes and will be having a draw every hour for those who attend
Besides having the biggest gym around for foamie flying, we have space for anyone's winter projects and I would like to invite everyone to bring your pride and joy to show off and discuss. I will be bringing my new Carden Extra 300 PRO Special which I hope to have moslty finished by then.
We willl also go into Futaba's new SBUS system and discuss the advantages of that besides all the other stuff we will have to show you.
