Man what an amazing day!!!!!! Big thanks and thumbs up to Steve for organizing the day. Brad our zone director for the new summer hat, Already being proudly worn. Bill and Glenn not only for the judging but all the words of encouragement and guidance as well. The Keswick club members for giving up the field on such a great day for several hours and the BBQ lunch. Rick, glad you made it back to the club for another day of fun, Todd, nice to put a name to a face, Again if you are in the area stop in you are more than welcome to our club... What did I learn.. 2 things.... 1- Like Rick had said. I still need to learn.. and 2- My beloved Sukhoi just doesn't have the power for the up lines and a little porky for some of the maneuvers.. But a new plane is under way. Dominic I will give you a better run at the end of the month.. LOL..... But had a lot of fun at every moment of the day. Brian, hope you make it back at the end of the month as well. Always have fun chatting with you..
So to all big thank you to all whom attended, organized, participated and the cheering section.... I could feel the love...........

Thanks to all at the KMAC field. Today was great. WIsh the wind was a bit less but had a blast. Thanks the organizers, Maac Zone L director Brad Egen for the nice swag. Hope to be back with something a bit bigger, My poor Electric aeroworks just was too small to handle the wind well.

Big thanks to Steve for taking the initiative to make it happen. Takes a lot of effort and Steve stepped up big time to make it happen. Congratulations to all the pilots for your enthusiasm and willingness to learn and accept feedback. It was a pleasurable way to spend a day and I made some new friends which is even better.

Well done guys, keep at it, practice and don't be afraid to come out to a real contest and give it a try. You all took the big first step today. Even if you never come to a contest you have purpose to your flying now which will make you a better pilot. And thanks to the Keswick club and Brad Egan for supporting Steve, much appreciated.

Thank you Steve for a good day, good way to break into IMAC. I'm a little surprised just how much I enjoyed flying IMAC (well sorta flying IMAC for me).

And thank you as well to Bill and Glenn for the instruction and description of the maneuvers. You taught me that I need to be taught!!

Also thank you Alan for not kicking me to hard when I screwed up!!

First = d flight, Dominic T
Second = -Rick-, Rick K
Third = NDW, Nelson D

Thanks to our Zone (L) Director Brad Egan we had some great gifts from MAAC, very nice.

We all won on this event, so much to learn from some very good teachers, thank you, well done.
Paul (RPM) put on an excellent demo of the sequence ( sequence was the first four straight from the 2014 Basic sequence ). Judging By Bill and Glen was awesome, at this point I am not sure but Rob may have stepped in there for a bit as well. I wish it was possible that every learning event could have the sort of feedback the pilots received, honestly some from zero understanding of a sequence to the point of being proficient, very nice indeed.

Thank to KMAC and its supporting members for the use of the field and the bbq lunch provided, thank you thank you thank you.

We saw allot of interest in becoming a better pilot today and most drove several hours to attend, you made it a great day

Steve, had a great day at the event, well organized thanks to the club for hospitality. Bill did a great job along with Glenn in judging and explaining presentation of sequences.
Hope all who attended decide to try a full contest, the hard part is now done, a contest is easy.

Pic of GPS location from the entrance
Woodbine north of Keswick to Boyers Road where you will see a sign directing you to the cemetery and Georgina Rent All, turn west to Varney Road. Turn north and the first driveway for at the cemetery will bring you out back to the field.

The field is in perfect shape, freshly cut this evening.

Don't forget that we have a BBQ you can use, BRING WATER or reasonable substitute.

Located behind cemetery

Today I had several asking of the location and tomorrow night when I get home from flying I will post the exact location as recorded on my GPS at the driveway entrance, will post the pic then.
