Ironically the OP and I are working on a solution and he apologized for all the drama that resulted. Nothing but class there. If others are still upset I'm sorry but not much else I can do. Lorne and the OP are happy now so that's as far as I need to go

Read through this thread and see how many times people crapped on the JR brand without any good reason.
If you hadn't thrown in other manufactures "names" it might not have gone the way it did. You threw in a name "jeti" when it looked bad on you, it also fueled fire.

Your posts made it sound like no other radio manufacture will beat jr and or bend over backwards to help a customer. Witch is incorrect.

People can have opinions, gripes, good and bad feedback. Calling other members names is not tolerated especially in a public forum. Its not a rule made just for you, but for everyone.
Your specific post was reported and you got a warning, not even a full infraction. A warning that goes away in 7 days with a note that says PLEASE DONT CALL PEOPLE NAMES.

If you have an issue with a member, report the post. If a person is being factual and playing within the rules there isnt much we can do unless there is a continual chirp from the people trying to bring the brand you rep down needlessly.... meaning we don't need 1 person continually saying the same stuff over and over.

Point is, you and others got infractions, one guy has asked twice to have his account terminated here and its all stemming from this thread. A thread where a guy was simply frustrated about something that happened to his JR radio.

This whole fiasco doesn't look good on anyone.

Anyhow, my advice to you Kevin (and others).
First, use the ignore feature listed above to avoid those you don't want to engage.
Second, if you feel compelled to get involved in a thread like this, keep it short and sweet. You simply have too much to say to fuel those who are in my mind trying to rope you into a battle online.
Thirdly, report stuff that you feel is a problem.

Hope that helps. The ignore feature is awesome BTW

Kevin, I recommend using the ignore feature with Dash. Did it a few weeks ago, now life is good

Why do you have to send your radio away to get fixed???!!!

All good everyone, Dan and i are friends and working on a solution. Nothing more from me to say.

Thanks Lorne for the insight. I apologies if anyone read my comments and felt I was not being respectful.
