Re: Balsa wood I'm really not too sure why he is selling some 33" stuff, he has a vast quantity of 36" as well from what I understand, but the deal on the 33" stuff was too good to pass up, besides, for making ribs or sheeting, most of the planes I build are under the 90 size, so not an issue for me at all, besides, I probably will try an order of the longer stuff as well... but that was a thought of mine as well, that it could be cheaper to ship the shorter lengths... |

Re: Balsa wood in that bundle they are, he has other bundles that they are longer, I thought about it and mostly for ribs and sheeting, the 33 bundle works for me, I will probably order some of the regular length stuff as well but wanted to order the 33" to see how he was to deal with and what issues if any for shipping, I am pleased to say, no issues at all.... I am not affiliated with this guy at all, but was very pleased and thought it would be good to pass such deals on to the guys here... Gary |

Balsa wood I found a guy in Texas that sells his balsa on e-bay, he has a great deal on now, 1/32 x 3 x 33 to 3/16 x3 x33 2 sheets for $1. he has a lot of other sizes as well, pretty much any size you might want he told me. The quality seems pretty good, maybe a few sheets with a little fuzz on the edge but otherwise nice stuff. I ordered $100 worth of that stuff and got 200 sheets.... the shipping was 34 bucks and it took 8 days to arrive here once shipped. If anyone would like to get his link, just PM me, I understand that e-bay links are not allowed on the site.
