Re: COMP-ARF 2.3M Extra 330SC / DA 60 build! I forgot when I weighed it I had grabbed the stock metal tube not the CF one I had for it. With the CF tube it is 19 lb 12.5 oz. |

Re: COMP-ARF 2.3M Extra 330SC / DA 60 build! She's all done and ready to fly. The only thing I am going to do is to change out the factory socket head screws on the cowl for some M3 button head screws. Final weight came in at 20 lb 3 oz. This scheme is sure going to be hard to miss in the air. |

Re: COMP-ARF 2.3M Extra 330SC / DA 60 build! Here is how I did the inside of the nose cone. This way everything stays connected. All I need to do is unplug the servos and the ignition battery to remove the front end. Should help to make maintenance much easier. |

Re: COMP-ARF 2.3M Extra 330SC / DA 60 build! I decided on going the JTec route but had to modify the engine mount a bit as shown in the pictures. Here are a few shots from my build so far. I should be done in a couple days. |

Re: COMP-ARF 2.3M Extra 330SC / DA 60 build! Will do, I am going to wait until I get it and size things up before making a decision of what I will do. The 75K would be easy though and I have had great results with them on other engines. I get a slight gain in power over a muffler and less noise. I doubt it is enough of a gain to make up for the extra weight, but I just fly for fun so sometimes aesthetics take precedence over performance. |

I think tt needs a pipe Doug to wake it up a bit more...I did a little investigating and measuring and I think the KS might fit because of its long neck,,but then the CG goes to hell...But I'm sure one could overcome that!!   Keep us posted, it's a fantastic flyer!
