Hk canister/muffler support I have a HK canister set and a DLE 50cc that I have mounted on a hanger 9 extra260 27%. I tried to make a support out of 1/4" ply with rubber glued to the hole which contacts the canister. I was hoping that it would suffice as an initial support but it seemed to transfer so much vibration to the airframe. Its diameter is 60mm. I would like to throw it out to fellow modellers who have the same setup as to what size support did they use on their setup. Tbolt has various sizes one 55mm, 70mm. Would the 70mm be to loose? Any other way this canister can be supported to lessen the vibration? Any input is appreciated. Need this bird flying soon! |
