It's the iPad orientation when you take the picture that determines whether it's right side up or upside down.

Try this experiment: Take a picture in landscape mode, with the button on the right. Then flip the iPad over so the button is on the left and take another picture . Then post both. One should be right side up and one should be upside down. Whichever side the button was on that gave you the right-side-up picture, continue using that method.

Hot day here in Moncton and decided to do a leak check on the floats. It didn't go so well, crap load of water in the floats. I epoxied everything inside so I am hoping the balsa didn't get to wet. I drilled a bunch of holes in the bottom of the floats to drain the water, thinking I may fill each cavity with spray foam and hopefully stop the leaks. Pretty sure water is coming in thru the retracts.

Re: Beaver Fever in Southern Ontario

Update. Got #2 and #3 flight on my beaver today at the Truro Warbird meet and each flight just keeps getting better. Lots of rudder required in the turns, I wonder if the Horizontal stab strakes would help that. Flaps are a pleasure to use, no surprises. put them down and let the nose drop and life is good. DA100 worked flawlessly, most of the flight was done at 1/4 to 1/2 throttle. The Nose wheel steering also worked well. Next mission is to put it in the water and see how many leaks there are in the floats.

Sorry. I did put them up for the test flight. The nose gear steering mod worked out great.
