Re: Canister tunnel, will it work I have used aluminum muffler tape, rather than cardboard or balsa. Just stick it to sides and top. Doesn't burn and reflects most of the heat back to the tunnel and the heat absorbed spreads fast rather than transferring locally to wood structures. It's also fuel proof. If you added one 2" wide strip of tape to the centerline of the tunnel roof where your can is really close to the cardboard, I don't you have any issues. If your worried about your cardboard, throw it in your oven at 250-300F for an 30min. put the cardboard between two sheets of tin foil. See what happens. Maybe a good idea to do it when the wife isn't there! LOL |

Re: Canister tunnel, will it work The pictures do exaggerate the length of the header, but it easy to do a 2nd support. |

Re: Canister tunnel, will it work I will wager the paper will work right up till the expiry date as well. Glued well and fuel-proofed. With that long flexible header, I would try to create a second mount for the canister though. The canisters do tend to oscillate a bit. Nick |

Canister tunnel, will it work I made a canister tunnel from SBS 18 point (card stock to none pressman!) Will this work or does the canister put out enough heat to burn it? Last thing I what is a flaming plane |
