Simple solution: do your research at a variety of vendors, determine the best price (including shipping) and buy it if you think that the price is reasonable. I got cash for Christmas (what our Jewish friends would call Channakuh Gelt) and am thinking of picking up some electric motors and lipo packs. Hobby King, Pinnacle, Hobby Hobby, Great Hobbies, A&J Hobbies, and Ideal Hobbies will all get a visit to check availability and prices. Then I'll buy my stuff. |

Re: Great Hobbies's GREAT boxing day sale. What I'd like to know is when they say "Was $379.99, Save $30.00 (8%) $349.99", when exactly WAS it $379.99? Oh, also note that HobbyHobby sells the same kit for $279.99, if it's in stock. Hobby Wholesale's price is $329.99. Not sure how anyone is "saving" $30.00... |

Great Hobbies's GREAT boxing day sale. LMAO Great hobbies has their boxing week sales on right now, but I couldn't wait to buy the Top Flight Gold Edition .60 size Mustang from them, so I put my order in and paid 332.49 plus taxes for it a few days prior to the start of the sale. I was totally expecting it to be 50-100 bucks cheaper JUST cause I didn't want to wait, BUT low and behold their pathetic sale of up to 10% off, brings the mustang's price down to a whopping $349.99 (8%off) from the cool price of $379.99. WTF? The total price I paid was cheaper than it's NEW price ($375.71) |
