Re: 43% Hyperlite Slick 540.. Build By Brad Bagged the wing. Had to run a low vacuum because of the lightening holes in the foam. Very happy with the results. Weight 27 ounces. With any luck it will be ready for Joe Nall this year. |

Tom at BME has taken care of the initial carb/reed block problem that plagued Keith when the BME 116 first came out and they're supposed to run like champs now.....I'll see, as I have one all setup in my 'modified' Sopwith Pup  Bill |

I had a BME 116 about a year before I built this plane . Sold it Trevor. It went in his Challenger which was then sold as a combo. I tried to buy the motor back. But the new owner wouldn't sell it LOL Or I would have put it in my Slick. Fellow club member/buddy of mine Carl (bipenut) has bought a Ver 4 and brought the plans to our club meeting last night. Needless to say we all had to wipe the drool off our mouths in order to not stain the 'very' large plans. Question for you....I'm not a big fan of RI carbs and would likely choose a BME116 for power....your thoughts? Bill |

Re: 43% Hyperlite Slick 540.. Build By Brad A little update on the Slick. is flying great. This is a video from Sunday. I was trying a Falcon 28x9.5. I worked well. I have been using the Falcon 28x9wide. I just ordered a 28 X 9 Falcon regular blade to try. See how that goes. but the plane is a lot of fun. I'm liking it
