I know the Aviation museum in Ottawa has one. I haven't looked at it closely it may have something you are looking for.

LOL! j3 av8r, I forgot to do google search as I was just using my Yahoo search. Found a lot of nice coloured photos of the one in Hamilton so thank you very much. I can't tell if that one has the camo top or if its one colour. I think this will be the colour I choose but I need to find a good top view. Thanks for the help, John

If you do a google image search of "cwh canso" you will get lots of pictures of the one in Hamilton. The British maritime scheme would be a pleasnt change from the US markings.

Seem that colour and I am thinking about that being one of my choices but I very much like the read that was there about the PBY and its role that it played in the war. Thats for the link, John

Hello Bill as always it would be great to get together and talk planes and if my old brain remembers right Mount Hope Warplane has one that was blue and yellow which I believe they repainted so that would be nice to see. Talk soon, John

There's a beauty (IMHO) on display in a commemorative park in St. Anthony, NFLD (tip of the northern peninsula). I believe it was used by the NFLD Air Sea Rescue before the Canadian Coast Guard took over. I definately intend to do one in that scheme one day - it would be so easy to see in the air!

There is a Canso (PBY-5A Catalina) at the old air base in Botwood,Nfld. It belong
at one time to the NL fire patrol. It has since been repainted to its former
RCAF colours. You can Google it (click image) Botwood, Nfld.
