Re: Wanted:Ace Seamaster kit build Instructions

No probs, took forever to download. Could only get two pics at a time. Maybe I don't know enough about file size or something. I was kind of disappointed with my Seamaster after looking at it for over ten years in the basement. I decided to try it last year on land, and it didn't have enough power to finish a loop. Looking at it again, I have noticed the throttle was not opened all the way so maybe I will try it again. (Supertiger .51) Just got a house on Lake Erie, so I am glad I didn't sell it.

Re: Wanted:Ace Seamaster kit build Instructions

Rob,

This might be of some help.....

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...2364567&page=4

It's a link to the plan and RCMagazine article on Ken Willard's SeamasterII, a .19 to .25/ 49in span version of the .40 model..... see report #288 for the plan and #309 for the construction article on the SeamasterII version: it may be of some assistance.....it appears that that earlier .40 version never appeared as a construction article in RCM.
Note that the article says that the wing was a version of Ken's Headmaster model and that article may have been published in RCM and this and another thread - actually a blog by "hlsat" on rcgroups is gradually publishing just about every construction plan and article that appeared in RCM.

good luck,
