Re: Slash 1/16 VXL as first RC car? Oh man, there`s no way you can go wrong with it! All of Traxxas`s vehicles are awesome, durable, tons of parts and uprades everywhere, there`ll never be a shortage of parts! I personaly like the 1/16 E-Revo VXL, kinda like the mini Slash, but better for off-road and can do backflips right off the ground! I`m actually going to be getting one soon.  Or if you have the money you can get the new 1/10 Slash 4X4, definately one of my favorite trucks.But what ever you do you`ll be happy, just as long as you dont get an Exceed or something, lol. Slash 1/16 VXL as first RC car? Hey guys, first time the car forums. I fly 35% and smaller gas planes, lots of electric and glow aircraft, and 450-sized helis. I was thinking about trying some trucks. How's the 1/16 Slash vxl RTR? Any bad reviews I would want to know about. Everything I read about it seems fairly positive. I don't want to mod it out, but I'd like it to be fast and durable out of the box I plan on using 2 and 3 cell Lipos I have laying around, so any recommendations have to brushless at least. Thanks in advance guys. |
