Re: My mCPx got eaten by a shark!

One tip: use a regular 1.5V AAA alkaline battery for the Rx. Even a fully charged NiMh battery doesn't have enough voltage to show the tail fin's full muscle strength. It can fly fine like casual swimming with an NiMh but with a new 1.5V alkaline it can spin on a dime and swim like it has just spotted a prey. Wonder if the Rx and motors can take 1s Lipo. I have tons of them I can use to replace a heavy 1.5V AAA. Perhaps I can run a diode or 2 to drop some voltage.

My niece loved it and had lots of fun with it for hours (you know what kids are like), but my brother (her dad) had fun with it even days after.

Yeah, that's it, 30 balloons and a roll of string to tie the balloons.

I probably would've tried other dollar stores or florists but I didn't have the time to do it.

Party stores will be able to refill for you. They even rent helium tanks.
