Re: Turnigy plush esc programming issue

You could flash the ESC with BLHeli (multi rotor) if you have a programmer.

Yes, it is kind of dramatic, but it does work and actually does produce a really nice, smooth throttle curve - the 'punch' seen in stock Plush's around 3/4 throttle doesn't show up until about 90 - 95% throttle and the in between is very smooth.

If you lived closer I'd offer to do it for you - I have the programmer and such.

If you wanted to mail it to me and include a return (postage paid ) bubble envelope I'd be happy to help out, but by then you might have spent the amount of a new plush.

Anyway... offer is there if you want it.

Hey,

RX was binded properly and have been working perfectly. I have since reprogrammed the ESC on the card and tried to use it with stick in fully down position, yet it's beeping with 2 sec intervals in between each beep. Beeps are not beeping as it was before, so the pattern of beeps have changed yet ESC is not arming nor going into programming with throttle stick in top position. What to do next?

Yes but I don't want to pull it out from already set setup. I have 4 others and they never gave me this much hard time to get going, nor I had to pre program them before installing.

Do you have another identical ESC that you can swap in and see what it does?

Ive done that and it's still not arming the right way!, if it was that easy or simple, this thread wouldn't been here but obviously this ESC isn't doing something right or I'm not....

Ha ha...glad I'm not the only one that did that today!!!

As far as programming throttle range...I'm pretty sure you need to power up your Tx, put the throttle to full, power on ESC, wait for 2 beeps, put throttle all the way down and wait for the series of beeps to stop. I've got one plush ESC and another "no name" brand ESC that work this way.

Also, for what it's worth, both of the ESCs I have also allow you to reverse the throttle in the programming.

Hope that helps!

Re: Turnigy plush esc programming issue

I sure hope you are doing all of this with the prop removed from the motor. If I recall correctly from the Plush ESCs that I have used, don't you need to program the throttle range? If it's not set to the correct range, you may not be able to lower the throttle enough to arm the ESC. I can't remember if that setting is programable with the card, or if you have to do it by moving the stick to the full top, then dropping it to the full down position.

Off course I did and that's when it armed and started with throttle stick in the top position instead at the normal bottom position....

Then, I again put the esc of the programming card and changed the timing to "medium" and motor cut off from "cutoff" to soft cut off....rest all were same as before.

Now, it's giving beeps with 2 sec delay on constant bases. Doesn't matter what i do, I'm getting these beeps....

Did you actually reverse the throttle channel in the trans.??
