It's mooring line ... dont know how available/affordable it is over here but it lasts forever and is much more forgiving on the trucks supposedly ... here is a vid of the same track

Thanks for the kind words and the hospitality this weekend. The Rome, NY based racers and I enjoy coming up to Ontario to jump dirt piles with you guys.

Great track, great facility, great weather and we had a great time. Thanks for taking the guys to the airport, that would have added an hour to my 3:30 AM morning.

After 10 days of working on the track, today, we finally finished off the new layout at CRC. We flattened the track, graded the race area for better rain run-off. We used a Caterpillar D3, 2 Bobcat skid steers and a roller, add about 100 man-hours and we have a track. We installed brand new yellow pipe barrier for good visibility. (CRC is actually a distributor for the yellow pipe.)

While we don't employ the ultra-cool pop-up sprinklers that Hardcore does (those are great), we have a dual watering system with 7 elevated sprinklers and 500 gallons of stored water in addition to the main water supply.

Last year's layout was dipicted by some as too difficult. I enjoyed it but a number of our racers complained that the jump sequences and timing were too difficult. The new layout will be a track where you race against the cars and not the obstacles on the track. Much like Tillsonburg, to make the main you will need a clean 5 minute run. Timing and back siding jumps will be a key to good lap times, but the massive "must clear" double and the the step on, jump off section is now gone.

In any case, thanks again, great time this weekend. We will see many of you at FTR in 2 weeks and hopefully again the week after at CRC.
