Re: Pat's Mini H quad The PDB along and no bottom plate is not strong enough , it will break sooner or later, if you really want to save the weight then don't use the PDB, it will be a lot safer that way. you can use the 2204 on 4s too and they will rock, the extra power you will get from them will make you forget about the extra weight of the PDB I use the 2204 2300kv cobra on 3 and 4s on my machine oh but i use 5x4 props so i don't over amp the motors. |

Re: Pat's Mini H quad wow just started the newest Minion frame - rebuild from my first edition Minion. Utterly astounding. This new frame is a pleasure to work with, looks the bomb, and a whole lotta upgrades make it very up to date. PDB very simple and neat too. thanks Pat! I am building it to be a 3S racer. Just a Q about it however. With the PDB added to the CF bottom plate, it is getting pretty heavy. How tough is the PDB plate alone? Anyong flying without the CF bottom plate, only the PDB on there? I don't have long enough screws to fit all 8 arm mounting points, so I was going to try without the CF bottom plate. Added my own alu standoffs.

Re: Pat's Mini H quad Mmm thats a tough one, i like the RG 12a esc, they support oneshot but they dont support damoening so lots of people are issing the RG 30a esc with oneshot and ddampening ( they fit on the 6" but not on the 5" minion ) Other than that i really dont know i dont like most of the esc out there, they seen to output less than the RG ones. Let us know which one you decide to use. |
