Re: Stinger 120 servo recommendations?

There was no problem that way. I think it was just the servo's "time".

Re: Stinger 120 servo recommendations?

Also,
If the servo "craped" out before your first flight, you need to look at why. Alot of the time this happens because the linkage is setup binding or giving alot of resistance.

Never overlook a jittering, clicking, or wurring servo. If the servo has load on it on the ground, flight strains will surely overload it during flight with often bad reslts.

Here are some Savox Servo Recommendations:

Savox 0252MG - 145oz of torque @ 6volts - metal gear, digital. Here is a link:
http://www.thunderboltrc.com/index.p...oducts_id=1186

Savox 0251MG - 222oz of torque @ 6volts - metal gear, digital. Here is a link (this servo has a slightly deeper case than a standard servo - about 8mm deeper or higher):
http://www.thunderboltrc.com/index.p...oducts_id=1112

Both of these Savox servos perform and center well.

Also - if you need Hitec 645s - we have those as well. Here is a link:
http://www.thunderboltrc.com/index.p...roducts_id=879

Free Socket head cap screw for servo arm with any Savox or Hitec servo purchased.

Re: Stinger 120 servo recommendations?

Like Dale said. No need to go crazy with the servo's, hitec 645's are more than enough, suggestion would be to go with one servo per half on the elevator though.
I Savox makes some nice digitals in the 120-130 oz range that are decent price and are real nice as well.

Cheers

Re: Stinger 120 servo recommendations?

Start with anything 120oz, and go up (if you want). I view servo's as an investment once past your first season, and growing.
Hitec 645, or larger 5645 - 7954
Savox, has good equivelant servo's. Sorry not good with their numbers yet in your size. I have started using Savox in my larger gas airframes. Quite like them.
Hope this helps, others will add to the list.
